河北省社会科学院（中共河北省委讲师团，河北省社会科学界联合会）是省委、省政府直属事业单位，是社科研究、理论宣讲机构和社团机构。其前身是始建于1963年的河北省哲学社会科学研究所，1981年改建为河北省社会科学院。2009年2月，省委、省政府决定将省委讲师团、省社会科学界联合会并入省社会科学院。

我院内设32个处（室、所、中心）。其中，科研部门12个、学术期刊3个、理论宣讲部门4个、社团工作部门5个、行政管理部门8个。

目前，在职专业技术人员共计189人，其中具有高级职称的111人；博士64人，硕士79人。拥有国家“万人计划”哲学社会科学领军人才1名，全国宣传文化系统“四个一批”人才1名，享受国务院特殊津贴专家5名，省管优秀专家2名，省优秀专业技术人才1名，享受省政府特殊津贴专家9名，省有突出贡献中青年专家8名，省青年拔尖人才4名，燕赵文化英才工程人选5名，省宣传文化系统“四个一批”人才工程人选15名，省中青年社科专家五十人工程人选14名，省社会科学优秀青年专家10名，河北省“三三三人才工程”第一、二层次人选22名。

近年来，我院坚持以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，认真学习贯彻习近平文化思想，深入贯彻落实中央对加快构建中国特色哲学社会科学的重大决策部署，聚焦省委省政府中心工作，积极发挥学科门类齐全、科研人才密集的优势，探索实施新时代理论宣讲融合创新工程、河北中心智库建设提升工程、河北历史文化研究工程、哲学社会科学创新工程，坚决当好省委省政府的思想库、智囊团、情报站、宣讲队、连心桥，奋力展现社科工作新气象新作为，为加快建设经济强省、美丽河北，奋力谱写中国式现代化建设河北篇章贡献社科力量。

我院不断深化和拓展党的理论武装工作，积极开展理论教育、理论宣传，组织实施干部在职马克思主义理论和形势政策教育、培训等重大宣讲活动，为各级党委中心组提供学习服务，指导各市委讲师团的业务工作。

我院充分发挥省委、省政府联系全省社会科学工作者的桥梁和纽带作用，组织、指导、管理、协调社科联所属团体会员和省级民办社会科学研究机构的工作；组织学术活动与交流，普及社会科学知识，发布管理“河北省社会科学发展研究课题”；依照省政府授权，负责省级社会科学成果奖励和管理工作；评选社会科学优秀青年专家。

全面启动实施哲学社会科学创新工程，组建区域经济与宏观经济政策研究、现代服务经济研究、乡村振兴战略研究、河北红色文化研究、区域史与李大钊研究、哲学研究、社会治理研究、法治河北建设研究、河北传媒发展研究、中国特色社会主义理论体系研究、人才强冀战略研究、省情研究、旅游与区域发展研究、《河北学刊》名刊建设与学术传播 、《经济论坛》智库学术传播15支创新团队。

先后设立创新驱动发展研究中心、京津冀协同发展（雄安）研究中心、城乡发展研究中心、宏观经济与公共政策研究中心、开放经济研究中心、区域发展研究中心、社会治理研究中心、法治河北研究中心、党风廉政建设研究中心、省情研究中心、城市经济研究中心、数字经济研究中心、西柏坡研究中心等13个非编制的智库研究中心。

我院主办《河北学刊》《经济论坛》《社会科学论坛》三本公开发行刊物；主办《河北社会科学》《智库成果专报》，与省委宣传部联合主办《党委中心组理论学习通讯》《理论信息》等内部刊物；主办“河北省社会科学院网”以及“河北省社会科学院”“河北中心智库”两个微信号。

近年来，我院广泛开展国际学术交流与合作，不断提升国际学术影响力。目前，已同世界主要国家和港台地区众多科研机构和大学建立了稳定的学术交流与合作关系。

Hebei Academy of Social Sciences (Lecturers’ Group of Hebei Provincial Committee of the CPC, Hebei Federation of Social Science Associations), abbreviated as “HASS”, operates as a subsidiary institution of Hebei provincial committee of the CPC and Hebei provincial people’s government. HASS is a social science research, theoretical publicity institution and community organization. Its predecessor, Hebei Institute of Philosophy and Social Sciences, was founded in 1963 and transformed into HASS in 1981. In February 2009, Hebei provincial committee of the CPC and Hebei provincial people’s government decided to incorporate the Lecturers’ Group of Hebei Provincial Committee of the CPC and Hebei Federation of Social Science Associations into HASS.

At present, HASS is made up of 32 departments (offices, institutes, centers), including 12 scientific research institutes, 3 academic journals, 4 theoretical propaganda departments, 5 social organization departments, and 8 administrative management departments. HASS sponsors three public publications: Hebei Academic Journal, Economic Forum and Tribune of Social Sciences. Currently, HASS has 189 professional researchers, including 111 with senior academic titles, 64 with doctorate degrees and 79 with master's degrees. In order to continuously enhance its international academic influence, HASS has carried out extensive international academic communication and cooperation in recent years. So far, HASS has established fairly stable relations in academic exchange and cooperation with many scientific research institutions and universities in major countries and regions.

HASS adheres to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and earnestly studies and implements Xi Jinping Thought on Culture. It thoroughly implements the central government’s major decision-making arrangements on accelerating the construction of philosophy and social sciences with Chinese characteristics, focuses on the central work of Hebei provincial committee of the CPC and Hebei provincial people’s government. With the advantages of complete range of disciplines and intensive scientific research talents, HASS is tentatively implementing four innovative projects: the Integration and Innovation Project of Theoretical Publicity in the New Era, the Construction Project of Hebei Central Think Tank, the Research Project of Hebei History and Culture, the Innovation Project of Philosophy and Social Sciences. It is steadfast in serving as the think tank, brain trust, information hub, and theoretical publicity team for Hebei provincial committee of the CPC and Hebei provincial people’s government. True to form, HASS will work diligently to take on a new look and make new achievements in the development of social sciences, contributing to accelerate the building of an economically strong province and a beautiful Hebei, and strive hard to write Hebei’s chapter in advancing Chinese modernization.
